CLASS Program - Speakers Bureau
The Speakers Bureau is made up of students who are willing to talk publicly with groups on our campus or in the community about their experiences as persons with disabilities. The Speakers Bureau represents an opportunity to share insights and knowledge about what it is like to be a student with a disability. Students have spoken with audiences throughout Minnesota such as: high schools, graduate classes, parent groups, and with inmates at correctional facilities. Participants report that they gain good public speaking skills, greater self confidence, and feel they are representing CLASS and Augsburg College in an important capacity. Please contact CLASS if interested in participating in the Speakers Bureau.
