FACULTY - Steven J LaFave
Professor
Steven LaFave has been at Augsburg College since 1991. He has previously taught at Concordia College in St. Paul, the University of St. Thomas, the University of Minnesota, and Michigan State University.
LaFave's research interests are the connection between accounting and language and the application of educational theory to the teaching of accounting. When he isn't teaching he enjoys traveling, movies, and songwriting. In addition to his work in the academic world, LaFave was an auditor in public accounting and an assistant to the controller of a start-up company.
