FACULTY - Randall Davidson
Composer RANDALL DAVIDSON has been fine arts manager at Augsburg College since 2002. He has been active in the Twin Cities’ arts scene for 30 years and has worked for the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, the University of Minnesota School of Music, the Minnesota (now American) Composers Forum, Minnesota Public Radio, and the Schubert Club. Serving on the boards of arts organizations he has found that balancing arts administration and his work as a composer is energizing. As an administrator for the fine arts at Augsburg, Randall collaborates with faculty and staff in bringing their most compelling ideas to life.
Some of Randall’s most successful collaborations have been with Garrison Keillor <http://www.boysartmusic.com> creating music for "The Young Lutheran's Guide to the Orchestra” and “History of Evil: Bible Families.” His most abiding artistic partner has been Philip Brunelle, music director of Plymouth Congregational Church and VocalEssence.
