FACULTY - James Jacobson
Studio Artist, Cello
After graduating from the New England Conservatory, Mr. Jacobson began performing extensively throughout the New England area. He has also toured Europe, South America and the United States. Since moving to Minnesota, he has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Sobieski String Quartet, Sartory String Quartet, and many other local ensembles.
Jim earned a Master’s in Music from the University of Minnesota and is currently principal cellist for the Minnesota Opera and Skylark Opera, formerly Northstar Opera.
