This is a place that cares about its students—in a real way,
not simply by releasing ad copy with broad claims. At Augsburg
students and faculty are encouraged to develop their skills and
knowledge. Those who wish to put out maximum effort will be pushed
to the limit; those who do less will be encouraged to do more.

in the world.” Teaching Music Education, Music Business,
Aural Skills and Improvisation allows me to turn students on to
the real world of music I know and love. 25 years of teaching,
30 years in the music business, and 35 years of professional performance
(classical and jazz) give me the opportunity to excite students
about this great art that for centuries has been considered central
to an education.”
