FACULTY - Gary Egbert
Assistant Professor
Gary Egbert began teaching at Augsburg in 2004. His career has come full circle from his early position as a university physics professor followed by a number of years working in industry developing magnetic recording technology for hard disk drives. Gary enjoys using his past university and industry experiences to help students learn how physics relates to the world around them and to help students develop their problem solving skills. He also enjoys helping students better understand how they might best prepare for a career in either education or industry.
“Teaching at Augsburg with smaller class sizes allows me more time to help students learn according to their individual learning style and their educational background.”
