Faculty

Augsburg faculty are encouraged to attend each graduation ceremony and march in the processional to show support and encouragement to the graduates.

Faculty Participation
On the day of the ceremony, all participating faculty should meet in the Sateren Auditorium Lobby at 10:15 a.m. At approximately 10:45 a.m. the faculty will move and line both sides of 7 1/2 street to congratulate the graduates as they process into Si Melby Hall. The faculty will follow the graduates. Reserved seating has been arranged at the front of the hall for all participating faculty.

Departmental Receptions
All faculty at the ceremony are asked to greet graduates in their discipline after the ceremony at individual departmental receptions, which run from 12:30 - 2 p.m.

Staff

There are MANY volunteer opportunities available each day, and we encourage all staff to consider volunteering for a shift. Positions include ushering, taking tickets, and crowd management.
