Baccalaureate is a celebration
service of music and word held for the graduating class. Please inform
your guests that seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Assemble
in the corridor leading from
the Foss Atrium to the Music Building, wearing your cap and gown, at
8:40 a.m. Please be prompt. You will line up in double file and be led
into the chapel by the College marshals. As you march in, please follow the directions of the College marshals.

Commencement Speaker: Bishop Mark S. Hanson
Speaker and Honorary Degree Recipient: Ambassador Koryne Horbal and Bishop Medardo E. Gomez
Faculty assemble in
the Foss Atrium at 10:15 a.m. wearing your
cap and gown. Master’s candidates will lead the procession followed by candidates for bachelor’s degrees.
(In case of rain, line-up will be in the basement of Melby. The decision to implement the rain plan will be made by 8 a.m.)
Following the Commencement address, the Dean of the College will present the candidates. Marshals will signal each row to rise. Receive your folder in your left hand, shake hands, leave the stage via the right ramp, and return to your seat and be seated.
After the ceremony graduates should plan to meet their guests at department reception locations.
