Baccalaureate is a celebration
service of music and word held for the graduating class. Graduating Students should wear their cap and gown and may sit with their family or guests in any available seats. Please note that seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

of the Science Museum of Minnesota
Honorary Degree Recipient: Jane Lubchenco
(Ph.D.), Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and NOAA
Administrator
Faculty assemble in
the Sateren Auditorium Lobby at 10:15 a.m. wearing your
cap and gown. Master’s degree candidates will lead the procession followed by candidates for bachelor’s degrees.
(In case of rain, line-up will be in the basement of Si Melby. The decision to implement the rain plan will be made by 8 a.m.)
Following the Commencement address, the Dean of the College will present the candidates. Marshals will signal each row to rise. Receive your folder in your left hand, shake hands, leave the stage via the right ramp, and return to your row and be seated.
After the ceremony graduates should plan to meet their guests at reception locations.
