HOW DO I REQUEST MY TICKETS?
In order to let us know if you’ll be participating in the ceremony and to request your tickets, please fill out the Commencement Participation and Ticket Request Form.
HOW MANY TICKETS DO I GET?
Because of limited seating, each candidate is allocated up to five guest tickets. In order to get your tickets, you need to fill out the online Commencement Participation and Ticket Request Form and indicate the number of tickets that you will need for your guests. The deadline for form submission is May 22, 2009. After that date, we cannot guarantee ticket availability.
WHO NEEDS A TICKET?
All guests including infants and children need a ticket. Graduating Students DO NOT need tickets.
IS THERE SEATING FOR THE DISABLED AND ELDERLY?
The majority of available general admission seating is on bleachers. However, reserved seating for the disabled and elderly is available on a first-come, first-served basis on the main floor. One family member may sit with the disabled or elderly guest (s). If you will require special seating for guests, you will need to notate the total number of tickets that you’ll need on the online form. PLEASE NOTE: If you have guests that need to be seated in the mobility access section, ONE additional family member is allowed to sit in that section with them. For example, if you have two relatives that require special seating, you may request up to THREE special seating tickets. Or, if you have one relative that requires special seating, you may request up to TWO special seating tickets. Any other guests would get general admission tickets and would not be able to sit in the special seating area.
CAN I GET EXTRA TICKETS?
Students may request up to five “Extra Tickets” to the ceremony on the Commencement Participation and Ticket Request Form. These tickets are NOT guaranteed and will be filled on a first-come, first served basis as tickets are available.
WHEN WILL TICKETS BE MAILED?
Your guaranteed tickets will be mailed on a first-come, first-served basis starting April 1 to the address that you indicate on your Commencement Participation and Ticket Request Form. NOTE: You MUST fill out the Commencement Participation and Ticket Request form to get your tickets. If you do not receive your tickets by April 24, please contact the Event & Conference Planning office immediately.
Any extra ticket request will be mailed separately and will begin mailing no earlier than April 13.
