Current Areas of Interest and Research:
Our primary research interest is in the area of computer vision with emphasis on
computational models of biological vision systems and handling the errors which
occur in visual localization.
We are working on human localization techniques in virtual environments as
compared to those used in real environments.
We are also investigating behaviors for multiple robots navigating in destroyed environments
such as those found during search and rescue operations.
We are developing new courseware to introduce computer science concepts using the Sony
AIBO robots in the introductory CS course.
