Our Urban Partners program is designed to allow Augsburg students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build their resume, and refine their skills and talents while understanding the importance of life-long community and civic engagement. The Urban Partners interns are paid through their work-study eligibility to do internships with non-profits and community organizations of their choice. Each intern has an individual consultation to clarify their aspirations and is paired with an organization that matches their professional and vocational interests. Interns are supported by a leadership development seminar to deepen their experience and prepare them for a life of leadership in their communities.
