What We Do

The Center for Teaching and Learning at Augsburg College engages and sustains faculty and staff, departments and programs, in supporting student learning success. Our activities and services encourage professional, scholarly and teaching development at every stage of an Augsburg career. Collaboration, recognition of excellence, and the importance of autonomy and efficacy are the guiding principles for achieving this mission.

New Faculty and Staff Orientation 2009-10

Welcome to the 2009-10 Academic Year!

Diane Pike, Director of CTL for the past 6 years will be returning to teaching full time on September 1. Lee Clarke, Business Administration, has graciously agreed to an interim position as Director for 2009-10. Thank you Lee.

Thank you Diane for your leadership these last years. You've brought many new ideas and programs to CTL and your generosity and ability to be open minded about funding opportunities has benefited many faculty and staff.

September 1, 2009
New Faculty and Staff Orientation

New faculty and staff will be officially welcomed to Augsburg on September 1 at 8:15 a.m. in the Lobby of Oren Gateway. Presentations and introductions will continue through the day. Lunch is served at noon in the OG Lobby. The President and Mrs. Pribbenow will host a wine and cheese gathering at Augsburg House at 4:30.

September 1, 2009, 5:30 p.m.
Welcome and dinner for new faculty adjuncts at 5:30 in Oren Gateway Lobby and OGC 100. Dinner will be served at 6:30.

September 2, 2009
Continuation of the orientation for new faculty only. Breakfast will be served at 8:15 in OGC 100.
