  2. Consult with individual departments to receive suggestions and feedback;
  3. Consult with the Personnel Policies Committee to ensure that the student evaluation process conforms to the relevant sections of the Faculty Handbook;
  4. Determine whether and how such student evaluations should be required of all students and whether individual faculty or departmental evaluations should be required or simply recommended;
  5. Improve student response rates as much as possible;
  6. Create methods for reporting evaluation data in a clear, concise manner which allows individual faculty, department chairs, and the Committee on Tenure and Promotion to understand the results within context;

  8. Regularly report their work and bring major revisions forward to the Faculty Development Committee, the Personnel Policies Committee, the Faculty Senate and the Full Faculty;

That membership will include, but not be limited to, representation from the Dean’s office and each College division. The exact number and composition of the Committee may vary at the discretion of the Faculty Development Committee;
  10. Oversee implementation of the student evaluation of faculty performance system with the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning and her/his staff, who will be responsible for administering that system.
