Join us for an open house to see what life is like as an Auggie!

At Destination: Augsburg (for admitted Day Undergraduate students) you will get a glimpse of what it’s really like to be an Auggie through an interactive experience. You can choose to take a campus tour; talk with current students, faculty, staff, and recent alums; meet with financial aid; tour the residence halls; explore your future home via city and neighborhood tours; enjoy some great food; and much more!

*Please note: Excursions will require quite a bit of walking! Please let us know of any accessibility issue beforehand.


City Excursions:

Destination: Neighborhood (1–3 p.m.)

Tour the vibrant Cedar-Riverside neighborhood that Augsburg calls home. Led by Mary Laurel-True, Director of Service Learning and Community Engagement, the tour will include cultural centers, amazing eateries, and a walking history of our area.

Destination: Super Bowl (2–4 p.m.)

Take a private guided tour of U.S. Bank Stadium, home of our Minnesota Vikings and site of Super Bowl LII. Your ninety-minute guided adventure will give you behind-the-scenes access. Discover the inner workings of U.S. Bank Stadium including premium clubs and suites, the Thomson Reuters Press Level, stadium art collection, team locker room, stadium floor, and so much more.

Destination: Arts (1–3 p.m.)
Join us as we take a look the Guthrie Theater, a constant entertainment venue in Minneapolis since 1963. Stand on the very stage where “South Pacific”, “ A Christmas Carol”, and “Macbeth” among others came to life. Learn about the history of the Guthrie, and see behind the scenes of this signature building.
