Application Infomation

Augsburg Application Process

Our basic admission requirements are:
High school grade point average (in the core courses): 2.5
High school rank: top 50% of class
ACT: 22

At Augsburg College we review the complete application before making a decision regarding admission.  Each letter of recommendation is read thoroughly, each essay studied, and each transcript and test score analyzed. 

To apply for admission to Augsburg, freshman applicants need to:
Complete the application form, plus the essay.
Submit an official high school transcript.
Have your ACT or SAT scores sent to us.
Submit two letters of academic recommendation.
Include check or money order for the $25 non-refundable application fee.

Important Application Deadlines:
February 2, 2007 President's Scholarship application deadline
February 9, 2007 Fine Arts Scholarship application deadline

Freshman applicants
The priority deadline for Spring applications is December 1.
The Early Advantage deadline for Fall Semester is December 15.*

*First year students who apply by December 15 for the coming fall semester will be awarded a $500 scholarship upon admission.
