Visiting Augsburg
When to Visit
To
get the most out of your visit to campus, we encourage you to plan your
visit through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. You'll meet with
your admissions counselor, go on a campus tour with a trained student
ambassador, and have the opportunity to meet with a coach, staff member,
or professor. Just tell us when you arrange your visit who you would like
to meet, and we will arrange a schedule just for you.
Visiting campus during the summer is meant to give you a taste of what Augsburg has to offer. Being an Auggie means getting involved with the campus and city community, and although our students are busy having internships or jobs, studying abroad, and spending time with family and friends over the summer, coming to campus when it's quiet will give you an intimate view of our beautiful urban campus.
The Admissions Office schedules individual summer visits Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. All visits start on the hour, 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. Wednesdays are group visit days, when the morning session begins at 10 a.m. and the afternoon session begins at 1 p.m. Saturday visits are not available during the summer (May - August). To schedule a visit, please contact the Office of Admissions at: 612-330-1001 or 1-800-788-5678 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
If you will be a senior starting in the fall, keep in mind that you can come back and experience being an Auggie when our academic year begins. We would love to see you schedule a time when you can sit in on a class, talk with a professor, conductor, or coach. - Perhaps you would like to take in a soccer game, theatre production or choir rehearsal, the Office of Admissions can arrange this for you! Give us a call this fall, and as long as we have 2 weeks notice, can set up a fantastic Auggie experience just for you!
Special campus visit events are also held throughout the year. For
more information, contact us at 612-330-1001 or 1-800-788-5678. |
