Thefts from Public Building

In compliance with the “Timely Notice” provision of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998 Augsburg DPS is giving notice of a concerning pattern of incidents that have occurred in the Christensen Center, near Einstein’s.

 

REPORTED OFFENSE:   Today’s incident involved a student leaving a laptop at a table and going to the Einstein’s counter. While only out of view for a few moments, property was believed to be taken by an individual that had been seated at a public access computer.

SUSPECTS:  While no suspects have been identified, perpetrators are believed to be juvenile, non-Augsburg students.

STATUS:  These incidents remains under investigation by the Augsburg Department of Public Safety and/or the Minneapolis Police Department. Anyone who may have information regarding this incident is urged to contact DPS at 612-330-1717.
