Escort Service

All escorts must begin or end either on-campus (e.g., to and from parking lots, campus buildings), at Smiley’s Clinic or at the Fairview ER.

1. Clients will be limited to one escort per 20 minute period.
2. Escorts will only be taken to authorized locations such as the light rail, private residences, apartment buildings, vehicles parked on city streets and common internship/volunteer sites near campus. A complete list of locations will be available online here. We will NOT provide escorts to restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores and establishments that serve alcohol. 3. To increase the efficiency of our service, each authorized location will have a designated pick-up/drop-off point. While these points are listed on-line, the dispatcher can remind you when you call.
4. DPS may refuse service to any escort client that is not dressed for the weather.
5. At least one person in an escort group must have a valid Augsburg ID.

Although the list includes restrictions, the college continues to urge all campus community members to contact Public Safety if you are concerned for your safety or the safety of other campus community members, no matter your location.
