WEC/Grad Student Parking
When to register & costs of permits:

AfA/Wec/Grad parking permits are available to those students taking classes primarily in those programs. Permits are a part of the tuition and fees and AFA/WEC/Grad students who are registered for class before August 23rd will automatically receive their parking permits via postal service mail. AfA/WEC/Grad students are required to register their vehicle and permit in Augnet’s Parking Services. In order to activate the permit they receive in the mail, students must complete the online process and then finish by writing in their assigned 4 digit permit number on the open box of their permit in black permanent marker. All students who register for class after August 23rd may pick up their parking permits during their meeting with their academic adviser, or they may pick up a permit from DPS anytime 24/7.
In order to activate your permit, you must register your vehicle through Augnet’s “Parking Services” and then write your assigned 4 digit permit number on your permit. You will be able to keep your personal and vehicle information on file with us through this database. In case of an emergency or problem with your vehicle, we will use the information you provide to contact you. You will also be able to view your parking history, including previous and current permit information. If you happen to receive a parking citation, you may also view, pay, and appeal the citation online.
AfA/WEC/Grad permits are valid Mon-Friday after 4:30 pm and all day on Saturdays and Sundays in street area C, and Lots D, G, J, K, and L. Permit is only valid in Lot L weekdays before 4:30 pm.
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) permits are available to those currently registered in the MBA program. This program meets primarily in the evenings and on the semester schedule. MBA permits are valid Monday-Friday after 4:30 pm and all day on Saturdays and Sundays in street area C, and Lots D, G, J, K, and L. Permit is only valid weekdays before 4:30 pm in Lot L.
Interim Parking Permits
Interim parking permits are available to faculty, staff, and students who have a registered semester or yearly Augsburg permit, but are unable display their permit on a given day. Students, faculty, and staff will receive three free interim permits per school year; after three, they must purchase a $5 temporary permit through the parking services website on Augnet.
All interim permits are numbered and must be clearly visible/ unobstructed, with the number facing out the windshield of the vehicle. Improperly displayed permits are subject to ticketing.
If you have a registered semester or yearly permit and need a interim permit, simply stop by Public Safety with a photo ID to pick one up. Vehicles parked without a valid permit displayed are at risk for a $35 violation.
Temporary Parking Permits
Temporary parking permits are available to faculty, staff, and students who only need a permit for a short period of time such a few days a semester or a single week during the year. Temporary permits cost $5 per day and are available for purchase only online through parking services. Temporary permits must be paid for by credit card online. Payroll deduction is not an option for faculty/staff purchasing this type of permit.

Temporary permits are to be used in the lots specified and printed on the permit. Commuter students purchasing a temporary permit will park in the commuter parking lots, resident students in resident lots and faculty/staff in faculty/staff parking lots.
