The College Board stipulates that AP* Summer Workshops must include 30 hours of classroom instruction. To meet that requirement workshops run approximately 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. each day of the four-day workshop. Consultants may slightly adjust daily start/stop times; however, they will communicate this with participants. Safe rule of thumb is to be ready to start each day at 8:00 a.m.

We recommend parking in an Augsburg College parking lot. No permit is required during summer. The most convenient lots are located on the west side of campus, lots A, D, F, or G are the closest to the building(s) designated for AP* use. If you use street parking, please pay close attention to the signs. Maroon signs stating “Augsburg Commuter Parking” are fine. Green and white signs indicate City of Minneapolis parking. Pay attention to hour limits. City of Minneapolis patrols often and tickets violators frequently.
Download Augsburg campus map. Check-in is in main hall of Old Main, adjacent to the starred building.
Recommended lots are accessed off of 20th Avenue South at either 7th or 8th Streets.
Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. in the Old Main lobby. Please note, campus maps refer to Old Main as Old Main; however, the front of the building is inscribed “Augsburg Seminary.” If you see that you are in the right place!
Lunch is included in the price of registration. Water and snacks are provided throughout the day. Coffee and tea are provided at the 9:30 a.m. refreshment break. For those needing coffee upon arrival, there are a number of nearby places to purchase. Ask staff at check-in for directions.
As noted above, coffee will be provided with the morning break at approximately 9:30 a.m. If you need your coffee fix prior to that you have the option of bringing your own, or purchasing on/near campus.
