- (Special Education) Degree Requirements
The special education EBD and LD majors are available only through
Weekend College; ideally, to people who are currently in schools
working with students with this label. These majors lead to Minnesota
teaching licensure in special education with a specialty in
emotional/behavioral disabilities and/or learning disabilities.Courses labeled SPE are to be taken during the final year of coursework while students are working in an EBD or LD setting.
Variations on this ideal are possible; see the Education Department for more information.
A graduate level licensure option is available through Weekend College. Licensure is obtained through a combination of graduate and undergraduate credits.
