Education Department - EBD/Special Education
The special education EB/D major is available only through Weekend College; ideally, to people who are currently in schools working with students with this label. This major leads to Minnesota teaching licensure in special education with a specialty in emotional/behavioral disabilities. Courses labeled SPE are to be taken during the final year of coursework while students are working in an EBD setting. Variations on this ideal are possible; see the Education Department for more information.Beginning Fall 2002, a graduate level licensure option will be available through Weekend College. Licensure will be obtained through a combination of graduate and undergraduate credits. Contact the Education Department for information.
