Augsburg College

Deb KuhlmannDeborah Kuhlmann
Instructor
kuhlmann@augsburg.edu

Deborah Kuhlmann joined Augsburg’s English faculty as an adjunct English instructor in 2006. Previously, she was at the University of Houston Clear Lake for whom she continues to teach online.

Both American and British literatures constitute research interests for her as well as the impact of technology on composition and pedagogy. She might best be described as a generalist, having taught at the undergraduate level for many years. Primarily, at Augsburg, she teaches undergraduate writing and literature.

Having sponsored student travel to England, taught summer school at sea for Texas A & M University at Galveston aboard the Texas Clipper, taken a sabbatical to teach at Egerton University in Kenya, and traveled extensively to all continents, her enthusiasm and commitment to international education is a primary interest as well.
