A part of the Division of Institutional Advancement, the Event Services team within the Office of Marketing and Communication represents Augsburg College to alumni, parents, and friends, as well as to prospective students and the general public.
Through publications, news media, the World Wide Web, and other forms of communication, we inform all of these constituents about the high quality and diversity of Augsburg’s programs, promote upcoming campus events, and celebrate the achievements of our students, graduates, faculty, and staff.
It is our objective to provide leadership and support that connect the Augsburg College Community, achieve the goals of the meeting/event, raise the image of the college and support its mission. We will be an active partner in planning meetings/events and will strive to provide a quality, welcoming experience.
In an effort to serve you better, Event Services offers you three levels of support:
BASIC LEVEL (I just need a room or table)
Requires 2 day notice.
We will do our best to provide you with a room appropriate to your event. Rooms are scheduled on a first come, first served basis.

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL (I need a room and have additional requests)
Requires 2 weeks notice.
Contacting Event Services at least two weeks prior to your event will allow us to provide conference center support, in which we can: reserve and set up your room, arrange audio/visual equipment, and provide moderate event planning assistance. Additionally, contacting Catering/Food Service at least two weeks in advance provides quality food and beverage service.
ADVANCED LEVEL (Planning partner)
Requires 3 months notice.
Contacting Event Services three months (or more) in advance of your event enables us to serve as a planning partner with you.
