Susan is an active soloist in oratorio, chamber, concert and opera with nearly every concert producing organization in the region. Recent performances include Bach’s Mass in B minor, St. Mathew Passion and St. John Passion, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde, Verdi’s Requiem, Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius, Handel’s Messiah, numerous Bach cantatas, and Elgar’s Sea Pictures.

Susan recently performed with the Minnesota Orchestra as Mercedes in the Sommerfest production of Carmen. A Metropolitan Opera audition winner, she has performed such varied stage roles as Suzuki in Madame Butterfly, Jocasta in Oedipus Rex, the Princess in Suor Angelica, and the title role in Carmen. Susan has performed for the past ten years at the Oregon Bach Festival as a soloist and as a member of the professional chorus.
