Students with Disabilities

Augsburg’s CLASS Program provides support for students with physical, learning and cognitive disabilities. If you have a disability and need accommodations, contact the CLASS Program at 612-330-1353 or class@augsburg.edu.

Conditional Admit Program (CAP)

Students admitted with the CAP program requirement should sign the CAP Student Requirements and Expectations form and submit it with your enrollment deposit. If you have questions, or for more information, please contact the Academic Skills Office at 612-330-1291 or academicskills@augsburg.edu.

Athletics

If you are planning to participate in varsity athletics, or would like to contact coaches for questions, please go to the Athletics website. There is an “Athletic Contact Info” link on the left, with contact information for all the coaches and support staff.

American Indian Student Services

AISS provides a cultural context for American Indian students that encourages and promotes personal and academic growth and teaches students to successfully navigate Augsburg’s policies and procedures and expectations. Call Jennifer Simon at 612-330-1144 or simon@augsburg.edu.

Hispanic/Latino Student Services

HLSS supports the academic and personal development of Hispanic/Latino students with academic, social and cultural events and programs. Call Emiliano Chagil at 612-330-1309 or chagil@augsburg.edu.

Honors Program

The Honors Program is designed to meet the general education requirements of honors students, making it easier for well-prepared students to complete double majors or minors, or more demanding majors, while still completing an honors program degree.

LGBTQIA Services

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual Services (LGBTQIA) Services works to improve the campus environment for all students, staff, faculty, and visitors at Augsburg College by developing and supporting inclusive understandings of gender and sexuality, as well as fostering a community that honors and affirms the wholeness of all identities. Pan-Afrikan Student Services

TRiO/Student Support Services (SSS)

TRiO/SSS works to help students overcome class, social and cultural barriers to complete their college education. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, TRIO/SSS is committed to helping low-income, first-generation college students and students with disabilities achieve a bachelors degree.
