Exhibit Notes

In conjunction with the Tile Heritage Foundation's 10th symposium "Tiles in the Twin Cities: The Quintessence of Handicraft," The Gage Family Art Gallery, Augsburg College, and The Catherine G. Murphy Gallery, The College of St. Catherine will host a National Juried Tile Exhibition.Our gallery spaces will feature contemporary tiles juried by William Hunt, American artist, critic, author, educator, and editor of "Ceramics Monthly" from 1972-1994. This conference is being presented by the American Swedish Institute, the Handmade Tile Association, the Minnesota Historical Society, the Northern Clay Center, The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and the Tile Heritage Foundation.
