"Recent Works by C.B. Sherlock: Exploring the Box"
September 15 - November 2, 2003
Opening reception: February 20, 5 - 7 p.m.
The Christensen Center Art Gallery

Exhibit Notes

Recent Works by C.B. Sherlock: Exploring the Box was scheduled in conjunction with the Friends of Dard Hunter conference, an international gathering of paper artists.

A Dard Hunter Paper Studio and Exhibits conference tour kicked off October 16 at Augsburg College, highlighting the C.B. Sherlock exhibit. The tour also included a visit with Tara Christopherson, assistant professor of art, in the Old Main paper studio where she has taught and made paper by hand for five years without the usual benefits of a floor drain or Hollander beater. Tour members had the opportunity to see a demonstration of the low-cost, minimum-space studio and view the portfolio of beautiful papers produced there.
