Augsburg College senior studio art students will exhibit a body of their
works in the Christensen Center Art Gallery from Friday, April 7 through
Sunday, May 14. A public reception is scheduled for Friday, April 7 from
4:30–6:30 p.m. with a special presentation at 5:30 p.m. One student’s
artwork will receive the designation of “Best in Show,” as
decided by Jake Keeler, art instructor at Macalester College, and Margaret
Pezalla-Granlund, Twin Cities installation artist.
The Senior Art Exhibition participants are Xandre Folscher, Michele Heimerdinger,
Audra Johnson, Aaron Koehn, Rob Legler, Gretchen Myers, Jackline Tadros,
and Jenny Wheatley.
All events at the Augsburg Art Galleries are free and open to the general
public.
The Christensen Center Art Gallery is located in Christensen Center,
at 22nd Avenue South and 7 1⁄2 Street on the Augsburg College campus.
The gallery hours are 8 a.m.– 5 p.m. Monday–Sunday
