Bergs' object compositions are explorations of relationships-dialogues built around shapes, colors, textures, and functions. After careful analysis, her specimens are placed into specific patterns that appear to establish the semblance of a cohesive whole. However, the individual characteristics of the disparate parts continue to resurface. Bergs has a BFA from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
