Artist Susan Hodgin, from Indiana, charts her reactions to the rapidly changing and diminishing landscapes that surround her, using eroded memories and emotional territories as a guide. Her abstract oil paintings are maps of experience, recording her weakening connection with nature, both near and far.
Hodgin received her B.F.A. from the University of Montana, Missoula and is a recent graduate from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design where she received her M.F.A. She currently lives and works in Indianapolis, Indiana.
