Cost and Payments

The below may help you determine an idea or approximation of costs if you are creating a customized seminar with CGEE. Each price represents the typical per person cost for an 8 day/7 night customized travel seminar. Typically, price decreases when costs can be shared among a larger group of participants.

However, please keep in mind that each seminar is unique in itinerary and cost, and the below is only an approximation.  Also note that, if you are planning to participate, your program cost and payment instructions are specific and will be sent to you.

Our prices are comprehensive and include in-country transportation, lodging, all meals, program-related activities and excursions, fair wages for staff and speakers, translation services, and more.  Many other providers of customized programs do not include all program-related costs.

Apply for Reduced-Cost Customized Programs

CGEE is able to offer a limited number of reduced-price seminars to groups who cannot normally afford our regular program fees, such as non-profits, high schools, churches, senior citizens associations, and human rights organizations and some institutions of higher education.  Please review the restrictions and submit an application for consideration.

 Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation notices must be received by the Center for Global Education and Experience in writing. Your deposit is non-refundable. A cancellation notice received up to 75 days before departure will be assessed only the deposit plus any non-recoverable costs (i.e. flight deposits, visa fee, etc.). A cancellation notice received 61-74 days before departure will be assessed 25% of the total travel seminar cost; a cancellation notice received 31-60 days before departure will be assessed 50% of the total cost. A cancellation notice received within 30 days of departure will be assessed the full program cost.

All participants are encouraged to purchase trip cancellation or interruption insurance in the event of a personal or family illness or other unforeseen events, which might prevent you from traveling.
