CGE visits more than 50 campuses each year. We would love to visit you!
CGE’s campus visits take on a variety of forms – from study abroad fairs to information sessions to individual faculty meetings. Our committment is to not only introduce students to CGE programs but also serve our partner institutions and campus hosts in whatever way best suits their communities. Related, CGE wants to add value to your campus and our recruitment visits can be supplemented with activities that bring more information and knowledge to your campus. For example:
- CGE faculty from our international sites make regular visits to US campuses. As regional experts, these individuals often find themselves guest lecturing during campus visits. They’ve spoken about Nicaraguan history, the role of vocation in higher education, women’s issues in Guatemala, and several other topics.
- CGE faculty and staff have worked with campus LGBTQIA support offices to offer information sessions that not only cover CGE’s LGBTQIA-friendly programs, but also cover issues unique to LGBTQIA students studying abroad in any program.
- CGE staff will work in conjunction with campus study abroad staff to deliver presentations related to funding study abroad. CGE staff not only cover CGE scholarship opportunities, but also external programs like the Gilman scholarship.
