American Jewish World Service (AJWS)

AJWS is an international development organization motivated by Judaism’s imperative to pursue justice.  AJWS is dedicated to alleviating poverty, hunger, and disease among the people of the developing world regardless of race, religion, or nationality.  Through grants to grassroots organizations, volunteer service, advocacy, and education, AJWS fosters civil society, sustainable development, and human rights for all people, while promoting the values and responsibilities of global citizenship within the Jewish community.

 

Jewish Community Action

Jewish Community Action’s mission is to bring together Jewish people from diverse traditions and perspectives to promote understanding and take action on social and economic justice issues in Minnesota.

 

Tikkun

Tikkun is an international community of people of many faiths calling for social justice and political freedom in the context of new structures of work, caring communities, and democratic social and economic arrangements.  It seeks to influence public discourse in order to inspire compassion, generosity, non-violence, and recognition of the spiritual dimensions of life.
