Course Credits Each course is worth four (4) semester credits, and most students will take four courses for a program total of 16 credits. Credit is granted and transcripts issued by Augsburg College, a four-year liberal arts college in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Grading Policy The grading policy will follow regular Augsburg policies. Students are able to select one of two grading options: traditional grading on a 4.0 to 0.0 scale or the Pass/No Credit system, in which P means a grade of 2.0 (C) or better and N means no credit and a grade of less than 2.0.
Given the nature of the semester program, we strongly encourage students to consider registeriing for the P/N option if possible. However, students should consult with advisors at the home school regarding any restrictions on the Pass/No Credit grading option.
Explanation of Grades At the end of the semester, one of the following number grades or a P/N grade will appear on the student's transcript. Number grades are used with these definitions:
Transfer of Credit Transcripts are issued by Augsburg College. Students are responsible for making sure the transcript is sent to the appropriate office at the home school to ensure transfer of credit.
