Support the Hagfors Center

Augsburg University successfully completed the capital campaign for construction of the Norman and Evangeline Hagfors Center for Science, Business, and Religion in 2015, but there are still opportunities to support this signature campus project through the Art and Identity and the Urban Arboretum initiatives.

Art and Identity
Through Art and Identity, the Hagfors Center and key elements and spaces inside and surrounding it will express the guiding principles for the building and Augsburg’s aspirations for a 21st century urban campus. As a way to reflect the transformative impact of the new building, Augsburg will commission numerous works of art.

Each piece will be commissioned through philanthropic sponsorship and displayed in various locations within the new building.

Urban Arboretum
Augsburg has a vision for a dynamic, multi-functional green space that deepens student, faculty, and community experiences through hands-on education, research, and recreational programs, serving as a sustainable anchor for our urban environment.

You can help us build Augsburg into an Urban Arboretum as an educational and community resource, in harmony with our environment.
