The Augsburg College Native American Film Series Presents the 2007 Season

Welcome to the Augsburg Native American Film Series Information Site!
Our yearly series has various types of film events. These include regional venues for Native American filmmakers, build collaborative relationships between communities, and provide a variety of film viewing experiences.

Documentaries at Augsburg College focuses on current and historical issues in Indian country.  Special guest speakers or filmmakers host each event, offering viewers the chance to meet and engage with a variety of people and discussions.

New Voices in Native Media honors youth and new filmmakers. A special reception opens this two-night mini-film festival; the filmmakers and their families are invited to talk about their films. The juried selection of short films, videos, and animations are shown at local screening rooms around the Twin Cities.

Native American Voices presents the current winners from the Fargo International Film Festival’s Native American shorts and narrative film selections.

Special Events each year we work with different Native community organizations and programs on special events.  Because these events often happen after our seasonal programming has already been printed on our posters, we ask that you check this link periodically to see what new and exciting things are going on.

All events are free and open to the public.
