I’m curious. Painting and drawing, making paper, creating an artist’s book—I make art at the intersection of what I perceive and what I want to know. My work is sensory. I begin quietly, immersing myself in the natural world—the taste and smell of what’s in front of me, on my mind, beneath my feet. I find serenity in making connections between the observed, the remembered, the imagined. Art gives me a voice, helps me find my way, and keeps me from being lonely.
