Licensure Program Framework: Students demonstrate their possession of outcome-based professional standards by completing a program portfolio as they progress through the Education Department coursework. Read a description of the model we employ to prepare students to meet Minnesota's rigorous teacher licensure standards.
Admission to Licensure Program (Day Program, WEC and MAE): Find information and forms for applying for admission to the teacher licensure program. All students seeking licensure (Day Program, Weekend College and Master of Arts in Education) must be accepted into the licensure program before they may register for courses beyond the introductory level. Information about state-mandated testing (Praxis I and II) is also available on this page.
Course Descriptions: Go to the Online Course Catalog for descriptions of specific courses in our licensure programs. Also view a list of the courses being offered during the upcoming and/or current academic term.
