Quality Education Programs in Southern Africa
The Center
for Global Education at Augsburg College has coordinated educational
programming in Southern Africa since 1990, first starting with short
term programs, then establishing an undergraduate semester program
based in Windhoek, Namibia in 1994.

The Center was the first U.S. educational organization to
have a permanent presence in Namibia. The longevity of our
relationships with a wide range of community members is a unique
feature of our programs in Southern Africa, and enables an
opportunity to study issues of nation building, decolonization, and
the long process of moving from apartheid to a true democratic
country. |
