SWK 699 and SWK 299: Exploring Family and child Welfare Services in Slovenia: U.S. & Central Europe Comparisons

Students participating in this course spend time in orientation with Augsburg social work faculty, then join the University of Ljubjana Social Work faculty to concentrate on child welfare. Slovenia course participants visit practical settings to study areas such as domestic violence, refugee welfare, mental health, and poverty. Students work with a group of Slovenian students, faculty, and community practitioners.
