Why I Chose Augsburg: I love the community here. We're small so it's a very safe and intimate space that allows one to get to know both professors and other students on a personal level. But the size doesn't inhibit the opportunities available! We're right in the heart of the city, a 10 minute transit ride from anywhere. Augsburg allows for students to get the experience out of college they want.
Fun Facts: Trying to come up with facts about myself makes me nervous. I also play 5 or 6 instruments and I love to read! And also I hate coming up with facts about myself.
Favorite Things: Well this seems to change by the week, but my consistent favorites are: The Princess Bride, Harry Potter (books and movies), Tegan and Sara, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer, The Lorax by Dr. Seuss, Sweeney Todd, Steel Train, Tim Burton, cherry pie, FUN., The Incredible Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera, Stephen Fry, Jukebox The Ghost, and sleeping.
What I do at Augsburg: I am The Student Coordinator of Auggies Homemade. I am in the Choir and the Honors Program. I am a co-founder of the group Students Today Leaders Forever.
Where I've Been: I'm from Chicago. I've been to Disney World (the one in Florida), Washington D.C., Denver, and St. Louis.
