Why I chose Augsburg: I chose Augsburg because the diversity drew me in and people seem so down-to-earth here. I also enjoy the aspect of a small school in a big city. Plus there is at least one Starbucks within walking distance! ;)
Fun facts: I was born with black hair but when I was a toddler all my hair fell out and it grew back bright red. I paint my toenails pink (which is not something anyone would guess). I'm unwillingly lactose intolerant. Oh, sometimes I meow in public.
Favorite Things: For books I love anything David Sedaris has ever done, the Harry Potter series, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, and the Catcher In the Rye. For music I think my favorite band ever is Blink-182, but I also love The Killers, Mumford and Sons, Tegan and Sara, and Lady Antebellum. I also have been known to blast Lady Gaga in my car... My two favorite movies are Amelie and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
What I do at Augsburg: Co-Captain and Co-Founder of the Quidditch team, Honors Hesser House President, regular writer for the school newspaper The Echo, drummer in an on-campus jazz combo, and I also serve as the charming ginger who smells good (a job in itself).
Where I've been: I've been to San Francisco, Washington D.C., Germany, Iceland, Poland, and Rome, Italy. I hope to study abroad at Augsburg too!
