POSITION STATUS: Regular, Full Time, 1.000, Exempt
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position represents the financial aid department and is responsible for the delivery of financial aid funds and services to student and parents. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Awarding, completing verification of, and revising Financial Aid packages for all new students; managing and maintaining Powerfaids system; making policy decisions guided by regulations and office procedures; supervising the Office Manager, and completing annual financial aid reports and audits.
QUALIFICATIONS (include but are not limited to):
Required: Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience. Experience with Powerfaids system and the ability to analyze and interpret federal regulations. Candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; speak to groups; work effectively in a diverse work environment with people of multiple cultures and backgrounds; attend to details and be accurate; multi-task and organize work flow; demonstrate patience and understanding.
Preferred: Previous work experience utilizing Scholarnet and 3 or more years of experience are preferred.
