Scholarships

International Student Scholarships

International students are eligible to receive the following three scholarships based on academic achievement; no separate scholarship application is required.

International Tuition Grant – $8,130

  • Limited amount awarded to students with a GPA of 2.5 or higher and renewable each year

International Regent’s Scholarship – $16,272

  • Limited amount awarded to students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and renewable each year.

International President’s Scholarship – $22,780

  • Awarded to a limit of 5 students on a first-come, first-served basis with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and renewable each year.  All recipients of this scholarship participate in the Honors program and live on-campus.

Augsburg College Scholarships

Augsburg College recognizes students, both domestic and international, who have demonstrated outstanding academic, leadership, service, and extracurricular achievements through Augsburg’s scholarship program.

President’s and Fine Arts Scholarships

Augsburg offers two types of competitive scholarships: the President’s Scholarship which recognizes first-year students of exceptional academic ability with strong evidence of leadership potential, and the Fine Arts Scholarships, which recognize incoming students who have excelled in film, forensics/speech, music, theater, or visual arts—including vocal and instrumental performance, acting, design, and production—and who plan to actively participate in the fine or performing arts at Augsburg.


Early Application Scholarships

The following scholarships are awarded at the point of admission based on information that is provided in the application. Notification of the scholarships are done through the acceptance letter.

Early Auggie Scholarship

Incoming fall first year students who have a completed application file by November 1, 2012 and are admitted to Augsburg will receive an annual $1,000 Early Auggie Scholarship.

Early Advantage Scholarship

Incoming fall first year students who have an application in to the Admissions Office by December 15, 2012 and are admitted to Augsburg will receive an annual $500 Early Advantage Scholarship.
