Information Technology - Software for Home Use
General Information
Through some of our campus site licenses and relationships with vendors, members of the Augsburg community can use some software packages at home. Please read any license agreement that is included with the software, as you are bound by it when you install the software.
Augsburg faculty, staff, and students can receive educational pricing on many products through a page at CDWG.
Faculty and Staff
The following software is available for Faculty and Staff to download for home use at no cost to you. You will be required to authenticate through Inside Augsburg to access the download webpage:
- Microsoft Office
- Microsoft Project
- Novell Groupwise Mail Client for Windows
- Novell Groupwise Mail Client for Mac OS X
- Novell Groupwise Instant Messenger (IM)
- SPSS 19.0 for Windows (32-bit)
- SPSS 19.0 for Windows (64-bit)
- SPSS requires an authorization code that you may get from your LFC. Find your LFC here.
For these software packages, a different arrangement exists:
- Mathematica for Windows, Mac, Linux download from Wolfram website
- Minitab for Windows rental or purchase
You may also purchase educational software from online vendors.
