RefWorks is an online reference management tool.
What does that mean to you?
RefWorks can help you with your research in several ways:
- Track your research. Use it to keep track of what you've already looked at.
- Use "Write n Cite" with MS Word for inserting your footnotes and citations.
- Generate your bibliography in one of several official bibliographic formats like APA, MLA, Turabian, and more.
- Organize your research in folders that you can access at any time from anyplace in the world.

Augsburg Writing Lab
Are you having trouble writing a paper? If so, the Writing Lab is a great resource offered to the Augsburg College Community. The Writing Lab is located in Lindell Library just to the left of the main circulation desk. Staff information and hours of operation are located on the Writing Lab website as well as many other writing resources.
Keep an eye on the Writing Lab website for current hours, especially during holidays, finals, and summer.
If you are in Rochester, there is writing help for you as well. The writing tutor is available from 3:30-6:30 Monday and Thursday.
Augsburg Tutor Center
The Augsburg Tutor Center offers free tutoring assistance for most lower-division courses. Students needing tutoring may contact Ross Murray, Coordinator of tutoring services and supplemental instruction. The service also notifies students of tutoring labs, and supplementary instruction sessions.Tutor requests can be emailed to tutor@augsburg.edu
Other tutoring and academic skills help are offered by the Gage Family Center for Academic Achievement
Many Voices Project
Each year the Augsburg English Dept. chooses a different common text for Effective Writing that illuminates issues of diversity from an unusual or striking angle. Professors, staff, and students across the campus are encouraged to participate in reading and discussing the year's text, both in formal classroom venues and in informal settings.
