Introduction

From the minute you walk into the Augsburg library, you will probably notice many differences from the high school or public library that you were used to visiting. Public libraries primarily provide books for entertainment or general research, while books found in high school libraries tend to be introductory level research materials. What you will find in college and university libraries (also called academic libraries) are primarily in-depth research resources.
