TRANSCULTURAL NURSING IN COMMUNITY
Admission Requirements:
- Master’s in nursing
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all previous college coursework
- Experience as a registered nurse, with current Minnesota licensure
- Professional liability insurance
Admission Process:
- Submit an application to the master’s program with the $35.00 fee
- Request all official transcripts from post-high school institutions attended, and have them sent directly to the Graduate Admissions Office, CB 65
- Submit one letter of reference from a professional colleague
- Submit two names of professional colleagues as possible additional references
Required Courses:
- NUR 500: Transcultural Health Care
- NUR 515: Managing Nursing Effectives Within Care Systems or
- NUR 541: The Politics of Health Inequity
Elective Courses - Choose three:
